Verum Projects employ powerful Helix Delta Q software to create optimal pipe network designs for our customers. PIPEWORK, INLINE EQUIPMENT AND SUPPORTING STRUCTURES
Verum Projects has experience in undertaking the detailed design of pumping systems, including the necessary inline components and equipment, the analysis of structural load and designing the pipes, pumps and equipment support structures.
MINE DEWATERING AND OVERLAND PIPELINES
Verum Projects is able to undertake the design of a variety of mine dewatering overland applications. We have completed a number of interesting projects:
- Underground Dewatering pump station: Water was pumped from approximately 700m below the surface at rates up to 120l/s to the surface and 3.5km to a mine water clarifier, in a single lift.
- Runoff collection: We undertook the detailed design of a overland pumping system to take water and sediments from the runoff collection dam to the toe of a Valley in-fill TSF, and return the same to the TSF. This project involved detailed Rheology testing and modelling, equipment and piping selection, detailed route planning and detailed multidisciplinary design.
- Overland Pumping: We recently completed the hydraulic analysis of two overland pipeline that ran between an existing Concentrator and a new Refinery. One line carries low pH Process Water and the second carrying Ground Smelter Slag that was being returned to the Concentrator for disposal. Both systems had an approximate static head of 130m over mountainous terrain for 22 and 16km respectively.
